This 1920s flapper necklace embodies the individuality and free-spirited woman who would have worn it originally. While the elongated silhouette of this piece (which allows for lively movement) was popular in flapper jewelry, the style and refined design of this particular piece is
uncommon
. Rich blue galalith plastic, made to simulate carved lapis, is thick and dimensional with naturalistic flecked patterning. A full-sized pendant curves dramatically in a design that epitomizes the apex of the Art Nouveau.

Very good.
This piece is fresh looking and must have been tucked away and well
taken care of, the signs of wear are noticeable only on close inspection.
The setting has a golden patina with some darkening and discoloration that is noticeable on inspection.
There are no components missing and they all look original to the piece.
The plastic has a nice sheen without any chipping - there are some beads and components that have faded and discolored slightly which is noticeable when comparing and inspecting the piece.
There are no other irregularities to the setting or signs of solder or repair and the piece has a firm shape.
