ART DECO CZECH GLASS & CASEIN NECKLACE
This necklace is a wonderful Egyptian Revival Art Deco necklace with green transparent faceted Czech glass beads. Four graduated carved casein or galalith scarab beetle beads are added in the centerpiece. The beetles are back to back or rather stomach to stomach; a few small pieces on legs have broken but I had to look with a loupe to see them. The faceted Czech glass beads are hand-formed and strung in pairs on metal wire segments with looped ends. 17" long end to end.
