Very cool Dupont Advertisting piece from the 1939 World's Fair--a book bound in Dupont "PX Cloth" made of "fabrikoid"--"Dupont's registered trademark designating its pyroxylin coated and impregnated fabrics".
Fabrikoid was one of DuPont’s first non-explosives products.
Well, it worked because the exterior of the book is in fabulous, near fine condition! The only minor flaw with the book is some age toning of the paper endpapers---NOT the fault of the Dupont fabric! Also with bookseller's old notations on front endpaper. With vintage brochure: "Details of the Motaloy Process" laid in.
