Brass, which I believe was once Gold Plated. This protected the metal over the decades.

~ Pendant: Dogtooth Bezel Set Peking Glass Cabochon, Green Enamel Leaf Clusters, Emerald Green Glass Rhinestones, & a Filigree Openwork Frame
~ Long Link Chain with a Period Spring Ring Clasp *These old clasps don’t have the nib like newer ones do. To open, pull on the ridge.
